In 2002, BCB entered into a contract with Soha housing for the provision of
housing
management, care-taking & cleaning,
repairs management and grounds maintenance for
some 320 general needs properties in Berinsfield.
We built upon this contract to provide grass-cutting and litter picking services on
land in the village owned by
Sovereign Housing and the Parish, District and County
Councils.
Since then we have been winning contracts to provide grass-cutting services
to an increasing number of local Parish Councils.
In 2006 we secured a contract to provide
Soha with comprehensive grounds services all year round
for over 40 Sheltered and
General Needs sites and
another to provide communal cleaning
services to 18 sites in and
around Didcot.
We
also deliver Soha's 'Assisted Gardens'
scheme to over 80 gardens a month.
In 2009 we won a contract
to provide communal cleaning
services for Cottsway
Housing's Sheltered schemes
and this has now been
extended to 2012.
We also provide grounds maintenance and
communal cleaning for all of
Sovereign Vale Housing
Association's new build
development.
We will continue to develop other contracts to meet our objectives,
continue investing in the
business to allow it to grow
and broaden our range of
cost-effective services. We
also support community
initiatives by gifting 10% of
each year's profit to
voluntary groups in Berinsfield.
